Mission: The mission of the Culture Coalition is to draw on southern Rhode Island's rich and diverse culture assets in order to create a strong identity and establish the arts and history as highly visible elements of the region's identity

Goals: To build a strong, vibrant Culture Coalition that contributes to the success of its member organizations and provides valuable resources and networking opportunities. To develop and promote artistic and historical events that enhance cultural tourism and education in Rhode Island.

8 thru 10 South County Museum Blacksmith Camp for Kids -- Young people (8 - 14) can learn basics of blacksmithing. 9 am to noon. Space is limited. Call the museum. $85 per person ($80 members)

East/West Blend -- Wednesdays 3:20 - 4:15. An extremely gentle adult class fusing elements of Tai Chi, Qigong, yoga, and dance. $42 for six weeks. $9 per session for drop-ins. No experience necessary.
16 South County Museum A Trolley Tour of Historical Cemeteries. Evelyn Wheeler and members of the RI Historical Cemetery Commission will host a walk talk of local historical cemeteries.
